Stunning Fine-Bladed Premium Turf

Sir Grange is a Stunningly Versatile Grass

Sir Grange is a fine bladed premium turf variety, which has high shade tolerance and very low nutrient and water requirements. Sir Grange was originally developed for the golf industry but it was soon discovered that due to its characteristics, it makes a fantastic home lawn.

Sir Grange was hand selected from over 10,000 different zoysia varieties for its ability to adapt to a variety of climates, its high wear tolerance and its beautiful dark green leaf. It is suitable for both full sun or moderately shaded areas, and has moderate drought tolerance.

Sir Grange has been tried and tested to stand up to whatever most harsh climates can throw at it.

The Lawn Solutions Australia network of Aussie turf farmers have an extensive R&D program that includes partnerships with some of the world’s leading turf grass research facilities. Sir Grange is a successful product of these turf grass breeders, and has been catching the worldwide turf market by storm. Its adaptability to a variety of climates, and its beautiful dark green leaf have seen it become the #1 selling zoysia grass in the USA.

Available from Active Turf Supplies, you can be sure Sir Grange has been tried and tested to stand up to whatever the Aussie climate can throw at it.

Sir Grange is Hardy and Tough

Sir Grange Zoysia suits full sun situations and has high drought tolerance once established in 100-200mm of sand, which is an increasingly important consideration for both residential and commercial lawns. It also has a high tolerance for foot traffic and wear, with excellent self-repairing capability once the root zone is established to a depth of 200mm.

High Shade Tolerance

Has your garden got areas of shade? Not a problem, Sir Grange Zoysia can handle it. Unlike some other common grass varieties that require full sun to thrive, Sir Grange has a very high tolerance of shady situations after establishment, needing minimal direct sunlight (3 hours of direct sunlight/day)

Low Maintenance and Nutrient Requirements

Less maintenance means more time to enjoy your garden! Sir Grange does not need to be mown as frequently as other common grass varieties, and also can be mown at a range of different heights to suit your garden and preference. Not only that, but it is less demanding of nutrients than other grass types!

Low Allergenic

Sir Grange Zoysia is also a low allergenic grass type, and its soft fine leaf texture is ideal for children and pets.

Active Turf Supplies is fully accredited and inspected by Australia’s only turf accreditation program, AusGAP.
